MEET SUSIE PARKS

I was born in Burbank, California and lived in Panorama City on “LULLABY LANE” Then we moved to Saugus, California in 1963. Music has always been a part of my life. Whether it was dancing at school dances or singing in church, and High School concert choir. As far a writing, I started writing poems in 2009 and then realized I had felt “GROUNDED” and it was time to make these poems into songs! This would be a “NEW BEGINNING!” Wow I thought, maybe I could be a singer songwriter? Well I started my own band in Santa Clarita, California in 2012. We had a few performances and I worked with some very talented musicians! Then I started a singer songwriter group! Wow! I met more talent and we all shared the love for music! So now that I’m writing a little bit about myself it sort of feels like I’m “SITTING NEXT TO YESTERDAY!” I have had a dozen of my songs recorded and my first CD release party in 2012. A lot of my songs are a “MIRROR IMAGE” of my life. And now I reside in Daytona Beach and I’m enjoying the music scene here in Florida! I decided to “JUST GO WITH IT” and not take this music thing to seriously! There are so many talented musicians here as well and I have been blessed with an incredible mentor, Michael Stilwell who continues to teach me fingerstyle guitar and how to perfect my craft! And this is not a “PICK UP LINE” when I met him I felt like I’ve known him forever! I’m loving this journey I am on! I am very blessed to be a part of this group and hope to learn more as I go! I have “UNSHAKABLE FAITH” that keeps me going! Life is a journey and it’s amazing what we can do in “A DASH OF TIME!”

MEET MICHAEL STILWELL DASH OF TIME DUO PARTNER I was born in Ramapo, N.Y. in 1962. In 1985, I started my music career playing guitar in both cover and original music bands. Switching to bass, I played with with various local bands as well as touring and playing abroad on cruise ships. One of my recent musical projects is a Johnny Cash tribute band called "Johnny and the Cashettes." This is a unique band as I get to perform Johnny Cash tunes with Miss Susie Parks and an all female band. The "Dash Of Time" show consists of Susie and me performing a broad range of acoustic music including her originals, Fleetwood Mac, Roseanne Cash, and many other beloved artists.
